John's journey began in the trenches, working directly with at-risk youth in both a detention center and a therapeutic treatment program. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and anger management, John embraced these approaches as essential tools for guiding young minds towards healthier choices and a brighter future.

 

Recognized as an educational specialist, John plays a vital role in teaching both diversion and court-ordered classes for Fairfax County Juvenile Court. As one of the largest metropolitan agencies in the region, serving a population of over 1.14 million, his expertise and dedication have positively impacted countless lives.
